****** up my speed.. any idea what this is

so i was comin home from school today in a little snow storn..started turnin on the highway hit ice and whipped out hit the wall goin about 25-30...front bumper is smoked...i tried to drive it but the alignment is so far outta whack just goes left and right and i cant drive it strait..anyone know what this could be? maybe a tire rod? or suspension damage?

Could be many things. I think it's telling you not to drive it.

damn you must have been going a little faster than 25. I rammed my car (almost head on) into a railing at 20mph and all i got was a small dent in the front bumper and i got to drive home no alignment issues.

Probably suspension damage. I also read this as "don't drive me until I'm fixed".

Get it over to a good body man and call your insurance.

there are many things that could have happened when you hit that wall your alignment is more than likely out but you could have bent a strut or control arm, i went through many rear control arms on my civic until i switched to chromemoly integra control arms, take it to a body and frame expert to see what he says

Damn, that sucks man. Don't try to drive it! You'll just make things worse for yourself. Make sure to look for damage under the bumper cover. Things crumble pretty easy under there. (bang)

DOnt know.. but of course I have to ask... you werent driving on the Potenza's were you? This comes up every winter. lol

And I would say also not to drive it. You could be making the problem worse by driving it around in whatever state it's in. But it's hard to tell what happened without seeing pics of the underside and wheelwell.

There is no damage to the two front wheels...Just the bumper? Now, wha'd Momma' say about driving in the snow on Potenzas? Wha'd Momma' say?

yup wheels are fine..i didnt hit too hard so im really hopin underneath is just maybe a tie rod or a control arm..
