I was looking forward to meeting new people and checking out cars at my first Mazda meet. I waxed the car Friday night and headed out Saturday morning. It was a gorgeous day. Well, I arrived around 11 and didn't see any other Mazdas. I drove around for about 15 minutes and still not a single car. I went and got gas and then a drink at Sonic. I made one last pass at the sight of the meet and still no luck. My wife was real supportive with her comments...."Hey, this is a great meet!"; "Wow, where are we going to park with all of these cars?" I decided to give up and return home. I then turned on the computer and looked to see if the meet had been cancelled or relocated. I then see that the meet was no longer in Garland at the Audubon Park where I just left. I see that it was moved to Carrollton. By that time, it was close to 1 or 2 o'clock. I realized that I wouldn't make it to Carrollton until around 3, so I stayed at home. By the way, I read that someone was told by the city of Garland that an Easter egg hunt was taking place that day. I guess they just didn't want a bunch of car guys there, because the parking lot was empty.
Anyway, the pictures look great. I wish that I would have checked the web site Saturday morning. I'll see everyone at the next meet.....hopefully.
