Two stupid questions.....

Alright, I am an idiot, but gotta know two things.....

1. Do we have a timing belt or chain on our 2.3L????

and

2. while filling up with gas, what do you all do with your gas cap??? I cannot find a way to prop it up or out of the way and it just ends hanging down the side of the car unless I hold it with one hand. Is there a way it mounts on the gas door?????

Timing Chain IIRC and I just set mine on the gas pump.

there is no such thing as a stupied question.
We have a chain and the cap is suppose to just hang there. I disagree with that design, but that is just the way it is.

i hang the cord that is connected to the cap over the hook in the upper center part of the door, it works great.

I do the same thing! It works just fine.
