two cats gone

Hey...I got a good idea for ya..Do what i am planning on doing...Get Your 2nd cat removed..and put in a straight pipe...then remove the 1st and place in a high flow...

Chas

i think youll have a hard time replacing the first cat with a highflow cat...i think you dont know where exactly or what exactly your first cat looks like...first off, its a triangle setup (3 bolts) custom looking thing...second, it looks NOTHING like your second cat, rather its a big cylinder looking thing...maybe they make highflow cats for applications like that, but ive never seen one, and i spent quite a bit of time looking.if anything you would remove your first and high-flow cat into the second...if it was easy to replace the stock first cat with a hi-flo one, then these other header manufacturers that allow you to keep your stock cat would just replace the stock cat with a high-flow one.

yea but hes saying hes gonna replace his first cat with a high-flow cat, which aint gonna happen

that wont work with most headers. that is designed to work with the stock manifold or travelers and essantial speed heeder will also work with that piece.

just remember most of the people that write those stories are biased and want you to believe what they believe...remember the fact that over the last twenty years how many more cars do you think are in the world...they dont factor that in...or that there is more industry in the last twenty years...etc etc...you dont see the senators trying to pass those emissions bills pushing their mercedes limos off the nearest cliff do you?

Well that's kind of a n ignorrant point of view. There are tens of thousands of studies that correlate to CO2 production with global warming among other things as minute as moss growth in arctic tundra. If you don't think this is an issue I am sad that you think that, because it's the attitude like that that is gonna turn this world into an uninhabitable ****hole. To say that it is biased is about the most ignorant thing to say, this isn't an infommercial for a money making program this is real published scientific data.

Moving on though. Running cats will increase CO2 emmissions marginally. The real purpose is to reduce and oxidize more hazardous compounds like nitroxides and sulfoxides which cause acid rain, and unburned hydrocarbons. I suggest you all put one on. It may even end up giving you more bottome end without the sacrifice of top end performance.
