Klip said:With a heavier aftermarket shift knob, TWM for instance (I have a black anodized TWM) mine feels smoother than the stock shifter. And alot shorter of course......
I only mention this because I finally received the silver carbon fiber shifter from CorkSport and it is lighter than the stock knob. To me the CF LOOKS better but the TWM being heavier FEELS better.
M6GR8 said:Yes, it makes sense. Where can I source this from? Thanks.
M6GR8 said:I agree. Got the Type R knob from TWM and what a difference it makes together with the short shifter kit. BTW, comparing the typr R to the stock knob, the later seems to be a featherweight despite it isn't so light weight to begin with. Highly recommended.

Yup good match, I like them both.M6GR8 said:Yes, I orginally order the Satin black just like yours. But they ran out of stock and I changed to stainless steel and it turns out quite a good match IMO![]()
Hey guys,mazspd6 said:I did this install myself and it is one of the most satisfying things I could have done.
It makes shifting with this stupid clutch so much easier because the throw between gears is so much quicker, more solid, and precise that I can do a gear change in one consistent motion of the clutch rather than the rpm's dropping off in between shifts like it did before (while driving in a more deliberate, smooth manner as you would on most days) leading to a rough engagement.
Thanks to TWM for making my Speed what I want it to be!(drive)
