Hey when u put in the TWM shifter, did u put on bushings? I'm looking for something thats not really stiff, but doesnt have play... u kno what I mean?

like the stock shifter...w/o play...w/ some shorter throws... lemme know. I jus tried my friends SS on his SRT4... and it was brutally stiff. I didnt like that. It felt like a 50 cent arcade game.

lemme know
TIA.

***ALSO which one of the SS'ers required the altercation/bending of the heatshield?

I would like a drop in... w/ minor to no modifications

TWM SS, at least the newer ones, have ball bearing bushings which far surpass the stock bushings and the bronzeoils, Shifting is very positive, very little play, throw length is shorter, well worth the money, they provide you with spacers to lower the heat shield a bit, no modifications to the heat shield, most other companies require you bend or cut a small section for the shifter to clear the heatshield, best product available imo, and the company has great customer service.
