Turning off the Beep?

I just had my battery replaced, so most of my on-board settings are back to factory settings. There's the Beep (on/off) button via User Settings on the touch screen but that doesn't effect the Volume/Channel steering wheel buttons. The buttons beep on every change and I swear it didn't before the car was serviced. Is there a way of turning that off?

Yes, there is an option if you go into the display portion of your radio. Select turn off the beep. There is a secondary option in the user settings of the NAV unit to turn NAV unit beep off.
