TurboXS Hybrid Valve installed(pics and vid)

Install was very easy and straightforward. You might want to remove bottom portion of airbox for more room. I used 4 washers after going through some threads on this forum. I haven't driven with it yet so will provide driving impressions tomorrow. Stupid question but what makes this a hybrid 50/50? It recirculates during idle and on boost it's VTA? Or is 50 recirc/50 vta on boost? Sorry new to turbos and bpvs plus got a good deal off CL so was a rush purchase.

it's 50/50 because it still retains the factory recirculation feature and also vent to atmosphere.

I was skeptical at first with all this talk about stock valve being less than ideal or faulty since my car ran fine but after installing this new one, I'm now in agreement with that assumption. I think any aftermarket will be better than stock. Improvements: Better throttle response and more umph before 3k. Powerband also seems smoother. Sound is awesome. Noticeable but not too loud. For those that think I'm justifying my purchase, I'm not. I got this thing hella cheap and could easily sell it if I didn't notice any improvments.
