Turbo'ed P5?

So yea, first post, but I've been on here lurking for a while.
I've gone through everything I can find about turbo'ing a P5, but still had a few questions.
If I keep it at the stock MSP settings (5-7lbs of boost) what problems might I run into down the line. FWIW the car has a little under a 100,000 miles on it with no engine mods, just coilovers. Not looking to go overboard with power or do any other mods to it, I just want it to be reliable.
The reason I ask if because I have the option to pick up a mostly complete turbo kit for very, very cheap, all I would need is an MSP ECU (anyone know where I can buy one, don't want to reflash mine as I want to be able to go back to stock when I need to) and an A/C condenser.
Any help or comments from people who have turboed theirs would be a huge help.
Oh, and I only have a few days to decide.

Turbo = less reliable no matter what you do.
Does this kit already have relevant gauges like boost and wideband?
What kind of shape is the engine in now?
Fluid leaks? Exhaust?
Maintenance up to date?

Keep the boost low and you should be fine. May need to upgrade the passenger side and rear motor mounts in the near future which also help alot with wheelhop which you will soon experience and eventually a clutch assuming it's a 5spd. Wideband and boost gauges as mentioned are a necessity!

on that subject, if its auto, the MSP ECU will not work, as the ECU controls the trans. on a stock MSP setup, a wideband won't do you much good (if you can't tune your AFRs, knowing what they are is basically just FYI)... but a boost gauge is very helpful.

It's all fyi until there's a problem and "my car is acting funny" and the reply is "what boost are you running and what are your afrs"

right, but if your AFRs are off, and you're on a stock tune.... theres nothing you can do to change your AFRs, aside from tuneup and leak detection...

I see it as $200 that is better spent else where until you're on a tune.

You won't know you need to change your AFR's if you don't know what they are.
I'd rather know if my car us running dangerously lean.
