hey guys i just put a turbo xs rfl bov on my car about 2 weeks ago and o my god it sounds sick as hell, but the only problem is that it sometimes stalls but its worth the sound.........its sooo nice

That's what happends when you don't recirculte. Do you have a hard pipes setup? try and run the dual set up if you can, or relocate the MAF. good luck to you.

I have a cutom forged BOV and i have the same problme. Is it 100% sure that my problem is my BOV???? I bought like this at the dealer. Don't think the dealer's gonna change my setup to stock one.

yes the turbo xs rfl is really nice, i have been using it for abt 15 months now, the way i avoid stalling while venting everything to the atmosphere is i moved the maf to the pressure side and placed the bov before the maf. theirfor the maf only sees the air that is actually going to the engine. that is how abunch of us avoid stalling just to let u know
enoy the sound

This is not a proper way to address the issue..

You should either:
A) Use a replacement BPV
B) Recirculation of a BOV
C) Stock BPV w/ BOV
D) Relocate MAF
E) Use a MAF translator of some sort (removing the MAF altogether)

Ideally the BOV should be near the throttle body

Wouldnt before the MAF come before the turbo? Sounds wrong to me (poke)

I know on the Miata motors we keep the BOVS on the TB side of the IC and this is after both the turbo and the AFM. Placing the BOV pre MAF would be pre turbo as well correct?

I know my HKS SSQV gives false readings to my emange because its not re-circulated. I am adding a re-circulated kit for the spring. (thumb)

no my maf is relocated onto the pressure side, theirfore making the bov after the turbo and before the maf..........m bad i was vague on my description. i will edit it

Yeah, that makes more sense. You didn't say anything about actually moving the MAF before.

Any of you have good pics of the installation! I Would like to solve this problem before spring! :)

ya my bad once again about the maf, ya i shoot abt a 4 ft lingering flame from time to time........... pics of the pipes uninstalled........
