I'll try to help you out, give me a few min., the best I can
do is get you pic's of how it looks when it's all wired up.....

k great pls try to snag of individual wires were they supposed to go if ya could ;) thanks a million coudl ya through in some text of how ya did it too much appreciated :)

So I had some time on my hands ( cant sleep ) & while its not in great format, I hope this helps.
Basically there are three main wires from the timer, Right. So in the pics you can see the first red
Wire, splice into it & connect the blue wire from the timer. Then the other red wire right above it will take
The main red wire from the timer, splice into it. Last of the three main wires from timer is the
Green one, that will splice into the blue wire on the ignition
( there are two blue wires, it's the one at the top, same line as the main red wire you just connected.....)

It is a good idea to solder the connections ones its all working, if you dont over time the connections
May fail. Also dont forget about the ground wire ( there is a peace of metal right under the steering wheel, you cant miss it, find a screw that fits & use that as a ground..

First pic didn't come out great, but it says:
Green wire from timer to blue
Red wire from timer to red
Blue wire from timer to red

Last you may want to connect your speed signal wire ( this is the purple wire from timer ) this connects to the ECU ( pin # 58, I think, it's the green & orange wire )

Also a great idea it to connect the brown wire to the parking brake ( you can't miss it, it's the only wire connected to the brake, just splice into it )

Good luck man, I know it may seem like alot, but this is how I did it & it's works great for me........ Wish I had time to give you a better presentation.....

This is how it looks after all the work ( you can put it were ever you want )

thanks for taking the time to help me man i very much appreciate it :) i'll be installing mine tomorrow :) I SHALL NOT FAIL, i dont havae a sodering tool so i guess im going to have to wrap it around the wire and tap it with some electrical tape. next time im in knoxville i'll have my grandfather soder it for me.

i got a few questions tho.. to splice into it did you use a wire stripper or just use a nife and cut a lil into it and slide away the cover its in? i just know i dont wanan cut or break the wire any tips on a easy way to get the cover off?

the speedometer wire connects to the ecu pin 58? (explain this sorry im really new to the scene i am just learning) :(

ebrake shouldn't be a problem.

okay i am wanting to place it behind the lil door under the cd head unit. how do i go about getting that center console out once i get it out i just need to use the drimmel and cut a hole big enuf for the plug to run throught the back and plug up to the harness correct?

thanks agian for the info i'll let you know how it goes or if i have to stop and ask questions :) thank god i have a backup car incase i screw it up :)

there are pins on the ecu and the speedometer wire is connected to pin number 58. this lets the auto timer function, well function. it senses accelleration and how long you drive at high speeds, this way it can correctly alote the correct amount of cool down idle time.

okay so basically i splice into the wire comming out of pin 58 with the speedometer wire the came with the tt?

speaking of splicing...are there any T type snap-together connectors? those would be leet to use...

i think there might be. if not then you can use screwtype connectors. just strip the wires, and cut them. then put all three into the connector and twist. that should be pretty secure.

The ECU is Located under the floor of the passenger side, if
you pull up the carpet you'll see a the floor pan or whatever it's called. There are just 4 nuts ( two at the top & two at the bottom ) to take out, under you will find your ECU.
The pins are numbered, just find pin 58 & splice into it....
As for splicing, I used a stripper with gauges on it, find the
right size & make sure you don't cut into the wire.
Make the splice about a 1/2 an inch to a inch long & cut
striate down the middel of the two cuts & then peel off the
rubber, take your time & don't rush it & you'll be fine.....

If it was me, I would just get a long drill bit, maybe a foot long &
come in from the front. This may not be the way it's done though, there is one other guy on this forum who has it like you want it, so maybe he'll pop up & help you out there....

no the metal things that came witht he turbo timer :)

btw i figure i better ask this b4 i hit the saq so i'll know tomorrow.

when i pull up the carpet and remove the panel to get to the ecu how do i know which one is pin 58 are they number or do i count from left to right LOL sorry but im pretty new to all this have a lot of question dont wanna **** anything up :) ty for helping me guys
i'll let u know how it goes

OH.... Nah, I didn't use them, I think that's if you have a harness.

The pins are numbered, I think pin 58 is the green & orange wire.
You'll see the numbers on the sides of the pins, it will start you off & you'll just have to count up to 58, if I remember right it starts at 50 on the pin like were pin 58 is located......

man i really need a turbo timer. i want that greddy fatt or the hks type 0. where did you guys get your greddy timers?
