Turbo or opt for something else

Hey fellas... This happens to me like every 3 months... I get ideas in my head and I think I just need some help getting straightened out here. Should I turbo my 3s sedan or trade in for a fully loaded, but used, rx8?

Any thoughts?

I love my 3 a lot. But I've also driven the rx8 a couple times and really like the car as well. I live in NJ, so the winters are doable if I have a light foot or whatever.

Any input to straighten my head out so this doesn't keep happening would be great.(drive)

I had the 04 RX8 and it suck so bad in winter you could not really even drive it.It took Mazda over a year to come out and make it public that the RX8 is not recommended for winter.
The lack of torque I didnt like either.I would like to see our 2.3 turbo in a 08 RX8 even tho it would still suck in the winter.There were things I liked about the 8 also but I wont get into that.
If I was you I would keep what you got or trade for a speed 6 or 3.

yeah that's what I'm thinking.... I could also use the extra trunk space and spare tire that the 3 has

I dont think I would do that.But it all depends on if you really want to keep the car or not.Dont spend $1200 just so you will like the car for another month or 2 and then trade it in.
