It's both, It's the triptronic trans it shifts really good I don't know
if there is some chip I could put in it to shift harder cuz I think it's all
handeled by the computer.
If you want to turbo your tiptronic P5 and you have no intentions of upgrading your tranny(ie valve bodies, torque convertor, etc) you'll need to stay at least 8 psi or lower and do not get boost friendly or it will be bye bye tranny.
Their are a couple companies here like Hiboost or MAM that sell quality kits and their is also some auots getting the MSP factory turbo kit as mentioned by the previous posts.
Also when your driving your P5(turboed) let your foot off the gas before it shifts then you can get on it after that. This will help your torque convertor from working too hard. You could probably gain at lease 170-175 WHP with 8 psi.
So it sounds like it's not really the motor I have to worry about it's the trany
What would be the most imortant thing to do as far as bullet proofing the trans.
you might wanna look up lentech to upgrade valvebodies and converter etc etc...im prolly gonna boost also...here pretty soon...gonna keep it conservitive at 6 psi...then upgrade with some lentech stuff just to be safe
