Not long ago a friend of mine who is a crack in cars, turbocharged his car. I'm planning on putting a lil'bit of money on my car so i was thinking on putting a new engine from Japan but he told me that it was impossible with my car since it's a 2002. Now he offered me to turbocharge my car for less then 3000$. So I went to a garage for my exhaust line and i spoke to the dude there and he told me that it would be a pain in my ass more then anything to turbo my ride. First he said that it would be impossible to turbo under 3000$ cause there's a piece that i have to chance on my cataliser close to my engine that cost like 1500$(my friend said i didn't need that piece though). Now i've seen some protege LX 2002 trubo charged and it wasn't a MSP. My question is, would it be worth it to turbo charge my car keeping in mind that i need this car to be reliable since i drive to school with it and i need a car to go anywhere from where i live?
