tuning out the knock and protecting your wastegate using ATR

Below I have included 3 datalogs all done in 4th gear on three progressive maps I made. You can see in the first graph I am getting a lot of knock, my boost is building instead of tapering and my wastegate is pegged. In the second graph my knock is less, I accomplished this by lowered load up top and lowering boost targets. My boost still was not tapering and my wastegate was still stressed. In the 3rd map I lowered load further, but also lowered my boost limits throttle close values. The results are my wastegate isn't pegged, knock is pretty much gone and my boost is tapering like it should. My throttle only closes slightly. For example I was hitting 76 on relative throttle now it will go down to 73. In any case the boost limit throttle close table seems to be the key for controlling boost. The best part is my car seems to pull harder.

Wastegate and load are on the axis to the right, everything else is on the axis to the left.
