We just did a Rally, 150 miles off-road, and I think that the Mazda 2 would be a neat little Rally car. We used an older Escort and we did fine (for the first half anyway).
So if your local SCCA or NASA club has a road TSD Rally, do it in the 2.
My local SCCA does a monthly TSD Road Rally. I've contemplated doing it for years, and being that it is relativity cheap to sign up, I just might have to give it a go.
