TRW vs Disc Italia - Brake Pads & Rotors

I am contemplating installing the Disc Italia or TRW ceramic brake pads on the fronts of my CX5. (Any opinions on brands???)

I will be towing and I want the extra stopping power of ceramic pads vs the OEM pads.

I will do the pads first and if needed, swap out the rotors for some Disc Italia rotors.

Are slotted rotors better than solid rotors?

I would not muck around with the brakes, I would spend your money on better tires.

The brakes are already out braking the traction capability of the tires and activating the ABS.
