trunk shaving

i brought my car to a shop and they told me that it would cost about $1000 to have my license plate area blended in with the trunk, keyhole are closed and the 6 holes closed up taht have the mazda symbol, mp3 sign, and mazda lettering aslo that includes a custom L bracket with light housing to hold the license plate ..
the L bracket connect from under the car to the bumper wehre the plate will b... then they are going to repaint the trunk..

has anyone done this, and wat do u all think of the price. i was thinking of getting door handles shaved but i dont have enough money for that..

price sounds about right, maybe even a little cheap.

hows that car of yours doing, what was the deal, did you part it out, or not, and did you ship out parts that people are "waiting for"???

still have it, the parts people payed for they have recieved them, but havnt sold other parts cuz the prices werent good enough.
