I wanted to know what is everyone's opinion about the Trubendz 2.5" Exhaust Kit. My other question is if anyone know if I the race pipe from Draxas will fit. Thanks in advance

I have the trubendz exhaust... The trubendz exhaust is a headerback system. So the good news you WILL NOT need the race-pipe. Buy the standard kit and it eliminates the CAT. Or buy the high-flow cat kit and buy an extra front pipe, email them to set that up so you can swap for inspections etc...

Yeah, that is some good news. So how do you like the exhaust kit, I hope it is not too loud ?

It isn't loud once it's on for a couple weeks quiets down a bit... I thought the whole "breaking in thing" was just you getting used to the sound and my girl said it's quieter too and she spends plenty of time driving her quiet econobox and then some time in my car and said it's definitely quieter than when first installed. I love the sound of my car now, mean/aggressive. It pulls like crazy compared to stock since doing some mods.

I've removed the VTCS, installed a balance shaft delete kit, 2.5" trubendz exhaust with no CAT, and an F2 intake with AEM dryflow intake. I'm going to get a dyno on the 17th. Can't wait to see my numbers.. I'm guessing 150s.. It feels GOOD.

The exhaust had to have been the biggest plus once installed, 3rd and 4th gear are much more useable in terms of acceleration at mid to high rpms. The low rpms of every gear has a little more pickup but it's more noticeable at mid to red line rpm range. I get back fires since I have no CAT. Not backfires like you hear old cars do that sound like gun fire, sounds like bubbly sometimes it's a decently audible but it's only on deceleration or shifting slowly that you hear it. It doesn't annoy me at all either, I like it.

I'll answer any questions I can. :D
