Trans Flash

Anyone know of a place in Portland, OR that I could get my transmission flashed to changed downshift sensitivity? I have the most current flash from Mazda, and it has a bug that makes the trans stay in 6th to much on the highway, and when going up a hill, and it causes the Turbo to overheat, and this overheats the engine from heat soak when you turn it off. Even if left idleing for 3-5 min before shutoff.
Mazda has taken the stick its head in the sand tactic and says "to bad, you have the most recent flash available and nothing is wrong" I hate that response! There is a probelm that needs fixing...lets fix it. Before it kills the turbo, head gasket, or warps the head!

well, the only way to go back in calibrations is find a cx7 that is older and doesnt have any updated calibrations and do a no coms blank out for the pcm and tcm then plug the other one in and do programable module installation on the pcm to transfer the pcm and tcm data to yours but, that being said, sucks and isnt that easy. I normally dont try to do it on purpose, but have before when i needed to back a calibration up one or blanked a pcm or tcm while programing

how many miles, maybe you can ask your dealer to update the pcm again under waranty then run to the car when the tech isnt looking and disconnect the aldl while updating so you can start fresh with a new PCM!!!

btw did they change the thermo valve on your trans when they did the update?

this tsb basically deals with trans overheating by replacing the thermo valve
