Trading in the msp....check out what the mazda manager said.

You were complaing about the noises from the Speed and somehow over looked the page in the Evo site about the car making noises, ECU wires being defective isnt a engineering flaw nor is water screwing up the car?? I see your filmilar with the term Continuity

Britney Spears is hot. Oh wait, I only meant to think that, not type it... :p
Where is that damn thread lock already? (argh) :D

SRTs are s*** evos and wrx are overpriced and the speed is a great ride. I also have every right to call " ASS MUNCHER" status on people whining becuase of thier lack of forsight and judgement.

Ok, I'll give this thread some value. My 03 is totaled and they gave me 18k plus 1,400 for taxes. I owed 18,500. I bought another one for 17,500 and put 1,000 down. :D

Well being that edmund's TMV, which I feel is a respectable number, is the only number available now, it may persuade the values of NADA and KBB.

I say, wait till early 2003 when the MSP's are all gone and the blue book price is available.

Just to add my part- I traded my MSP in after 3 months and 7k miles in July and only got like $13k or $13.5 for it then. The value of this car dropped like a rock. I am possibly going to wait for a used one to pop up in a few months and buy it cheap :).

SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU SHOULD HAVE LOOKED INTO THE CAR BEFORE YOU BOUGHT, GUESS YOU WILL THE NEXT TIME. OH AND BY THE WAY, A FRIEND OF MINE HAD A EVO AND LOVED IT TILL FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS, WHEN ALL THE SUDDEN HIS TURBO BURNED UP DUE TO FACTORY MESS UP ON THE INSTALLATION. THE DEALERSHIP SAID HE BROKE IT AND HE HAD TO PAY FOR IT, LOOKS LIKE YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO GET AN EVO. LOOK AT THE WRX, ITS A SOLID CAR AND THERE ARE NO FACTORY RECALLS AS FAR AS I KNOW.

I saw a Evo break down on the side of the street the other day. Black Evo... being lifted on a service truck bed. No physcial signs of damage on the outside... no flat tire, nothing.... I hope the Evo's are not going to turn up with a problematic reputation. I had believed the EVO was the only car Mitsubishi made that was not on the same reliability level as their other vehicles.... but who would've guessed?
