Trading in the msp....check out what the mazda manager said.

not to drag it on forever and get of subject here .. i wasnt really impressed with reviews of msp and all the comparos

what i meant to say is that to me there isnt really a car in that class right now thats worthwile

i trust caranddriver's assessment very much ... motor trend is kind of ok .. edmunds had a woman review the p5 if remember right and she had all the wrong priorities so im not even gonna talk about that .. the pm is hardly a review except for a poorly organized report of a shitload of information

thats just my thoughts .. really not trying to bash anyone here ... and i suppose it was harsh when i said that he didnt do his research .. sorry autox

but the point of that stmt was that these cars are bound for big depreciation

Regardless of their power output, I'll always feel sorry for anyone I see behind the wheel of an SRT4. The neon has a massive suckness factor that just simply doesn't justify any amount of power... it's almost like they spent their research money making the interior suck as much as possible, along with the slow-as-hell shifter throws, nasty seats, super-bumpy ride and rolly-polly cornering. I wouldn't buy a SRT even for half the price... and you can bet they're spending a lot more time in the service department than the MSP's.

It's a shame... it would be so simple to design a better interior... I guess they just don't want to have to re-tool their manufacturing machines :P

oh well it came out wrong. read the back posts, i didn't mention any relibilty issues, just piss poor engineering.
 
yeah the msp sucks. the mp3 is l33t

hehe just stirring up more trouble.
but my only other cars that i actually like right now is the G35 and the mazda6 thats about it.. i looked at an evo and it ooh and ahh ends at the exterior body. the engine is nice i suppose but them rims are tiny and it has the ride height of my dodge dakota. for a sports car it seems that it has that economy flare to it. the carbon fiber wing is very nice i will give it that.

the interior although having recaros is still BLAH.. boring. im just not really that impressed with them. if you want a fast car that looks like a truck then an evo is for you. the sti on the other hand is the same damn thing just made by suburu. i say you get to work and order you an intercooler kit and some more odds and ends and be happy that you have a nice car as it is
 
The problems you complain about that make you want to trade in the MSP have nothing to do with engineering.. Seat position Steering wheel position, pedal position?? these can hardly be called engineering problems.
 
plastic intercooler pipe that leaks, my coolent hose that leaks, bov that leaks. weak tranny design, clunk thats not been fixed since mp3, horrible fuel map on the msp. Those are piss poor engineering. I can live with all the fluid leaking, even the intercooler pipes leaking, but what i can't live with is the tranny where it makes me wanna pull all my hair out when driving it.

every brand makes their share of lemons, even hondas. if are kidding yourself if mazdas are lemon proof.

Anyways, enough you guys trying to prove to me this car is great. You might think britney spears is hot, but i dont'. We all have differences in opinions.

i've owned a p5 and now a mps and never had any problems with my cars. and this is regular stunt driving with both (ie. drifting into snow banks at 50mph, slamming into curbs while cornering) etc.
 
Im not saying the MSP is bullet Proof but you act as if its one of the poorest designed cars ever.... open your eyes every car has problems

i can care less about relibilty issues, i owned a highboost turbo civic for 3years. working on cars doen't phase me anymore. I know that mitsubshi is going to fall apart, not planing to keep it more thne 2 or 3 years as with all my cars.

Its like i'm on trial for wanting to sell the speed. If it makes you feel better to bash me, do so.
