Traded up to a CX5 GT... but its NOT

Hi people

Our old Ford XR6 was getting long in the tooth and I managed to get "she must be obeyed" into a CX5 after test driving a Hyundai... told her it was better.. So after a long and drawn out search we found what we first thought was a 2013 GT at a car dealer for a price we could afford. Paid and traded after haggling for about an hour, and almost walking out at one point, we were on our way for a weekend away (no kids) in our new-to-us-car. Driving off on our way loving the 2013 CX5 GT turbo diesel checking out all the electric bits and bobs we noticed it seemed to have more than just the standard GT features.. After ringing a Mazda stealership and quoting the vin we were happy to have driven away with a full spec Akera...(not a Acura) (cabpatch) for the GT price.. Its not often you get one over a car yard.

Joined the forum to get info on the CX5 the good the bad and so on before we handed over the dosh, and glad I did. Some great info on here and appreciated the posts others have done.

I think you meant Akera. I'm sitting here wondering how you and the dealer didn't notice the car was a completely different brand/logo/everything lol.
