I am kicking around trading in my Spicy MSP:(

What kind of trade in value are those of you trading your cars in receiving?

I need to get a little bit bigger car cause I will be driving more now with my own car, I am losing the company car (SH*T). Anyways, my MSP has 3500 miles on it and no mods or anything.

Thanks.

From what i've been reading in here, most dealers haven't been giving much more than 13-14K for a MSP on a trade. Others may chime in and you could also try searching, because I think there were some threads in the past.

Well with some dealers offering 4500.00 of MSRP on all MSP's 03-03.5 I would think the trade in may not be that good right now.

i've been offered around 10-11k by several dealerships. peice of s*** car!
Well with the car selling for as low as 15500 now that sounds about right.

I tried to trade on an Evo and on an STi but the dealers won't even take the MSP in on trade. they said that the reputation is poor and the new cars are too cheap.

Another dealer offered me $10,000. Almost half what I owe.

Wow!! In PA? If that is the case let me know where he went, and I will be there!!

I paid 19k for mine 2 weeks ago. Tookk it off the showroom floor. These are not the kind of car that is gonna be worth much in 3 years. I would think they are great commuter cars and a nice first car for a newly married couple. If high perf is what ur after, then Im sorry to say , but you should have bought a Evo, STI, SVT Cobra, or Vette. All those cars are 30k and up and offer 13.00 performance off the dealer lot-

Not in North Texas they are dumping these things as fast as they can.
I even heard the 4500.00$ off add on the radio today while driving home. Looks like a last ditch push to clear them out before the start of the new year.
Heck they have been going for around 16,000$ in Austin for a while. Now they are around 15,500$ while they last in Arlington.

I just purchased mine off the lot for $16500 after the rebate so I doubt you will see much more than $11 - 12k. Mazda is giving away the farm and still dealers in my area have 3+ on the lot.

Trade in value varies per region. Every region dealers have there black books that list trade in value, loan value and retail... these books come out every 2 weeks

Muohio - How much were the rebates for your MSP.

Also congrats, I'm still mulling over the decision....

The sticker was $21,000 minus a $2,500 rebate plus the X-plan discount. The dealer was more than happy to give me invoice, but they where happier to do X-plan since they are reimbursed by Ford. There are 3 Mazdaspeed dealers within 30 miles of each other and at the time, 12 MSP where for sale. It was simple supply vs. demand and the lack of demand and over supply makes for good deals :)

who cares we got ripped off !

for an ok paint job a body kit and an ok turbo on suck ass motor, I was trying to tell you people but y'all just wanted to tell me how good this car handles.

It will catch my my honda after the turn but damn sure not in the turn , HELL I was doing 1 of those highway on ramps toady that almost make a full circal and the damn tries started umming @ about 55-60.
