Traction Control issues?

I got in the car this morning to go to work and after driving to the end of the street the traction control and parking brake lights turn on. They stayed on for a few more miles until I came to a stop and then took a right turn. Then the lights turned off and then came back on a mile later. I got on the on ramp for the highway which is a tight downhill righthander and sure enough the light went off again.


My guess is that I'm low on brake fluid. I'm going to look at it before I go to lunch. Any other guesses???

I have been noticing a loud vibration from the front passenger side brakes when I'm braking hard. I also noticed over the last few weeks that the parking brake light comes on when I do an agressive launch from a dead stop.

well the brake fluid is low. It's right at the minimum line.

did adding moAr brake fluid resolve the issue?

well the lights haven't come back since I topped off the fluid. I going to drive it around the lot at work and see what happens

There are two common causes for low brake fluid:
1. Leak
2. Worn pads.

Sorry if you were already aware of that. You may want to check your pads, though.

The lights haven't come back. The pulsing from the front brakes has stopped too. I can't imagine where half the fluid in the resevoir would have gone? No leaks as far as I can see. The pads still have lots of meat on them. It might be time for some new front rotors though.
