Track run gone bad..what to do now

I am very tiered and was happy till my last run. I started off nice, every shift was good till i went to shift 3-4. I missed 4th but it grinded and the engine went to like 8k+. I slow down and see the CEL flash a few times then it stands still. I scan with my scangauge and says P0303. I searched and found "cylinder 3 misfire". WTF does that mean. I notice my car has a ticking sound that ticks faster as i go higher in the RPM. Its a constant tick. High pitched ticking sound. Doesn't sound like the fuel injectors. It sounds more like TRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I showed it to couple guys there and they said its ok once you reset the ECU everything will be fine. BUT i did reset it and nothing is fine. I still hear that ticking sound. I am very paranoid right now. Only 10k miles on it and its already going down hill Sad. BTW I ran 15.8.

You may have valve train damage.

Sounds like Valve train or you trashed a Bearing by Over revving it.
No matter...Its not a Good thing.

im going with valve train damage get it to the dealer asap and get that fixed

You can take it in to have the valve train checked out but don't turn this thread into a "stealership voided my warranty" shenanigans.

sounds like valve train or spun bearing. Bearing is usually more of a loud-knocking but every car and situation is different. Head to the dealer and tell them nothing of the events.

yea i know, i deff didn't have that in mind. I already took it to the dealer and a friend of mine has a connect at the dealer. I am currently waiting to get it back. Warranty is covering it. The dealer said it was bent valves.
