TPMS Questions.

With the TPMS, does one have to get the tires changed with a mazda dealer or can you tell another place that you have them and will the other place be able to change your tires without damageing the sensor(s)?

Also, do you have to get the same brand/model size as the OEM tires, or can you get a different brand/type/size and still have the new ones work with the TPMS? For instance, i want to get rid of the Goodyears and put in a set of yokohamas will i still be able to use the TPMS or will i have to get it disabled?

No you don't have to go to the dealer. They are sensors on the valve stems. And yes you can use it with the new tires.
