Have the proxes on our Mp3, decent...wet traction could be improved but for the money they are a good bet

another thumbs down for the proxies from me.
i had mine for about a year, have tread left, but they dont seem to do anything but spin in any kind of rain.
i fear taking my snows off.

I loved the proxies on my is300. You can't get the cheap ones. (I think they are the RS ones. Whatever the all season ones are called.) They suck. The good ones are gonna run you at least $200 each. They are not a cheap tire and what's stated above is correct. They do not last long. They gripped like all hell though. I currently have the pzero nero m+s on the speed6. They are coming off and the stocks are going back on once I'm confident the snow is done here. Supposed to be in the 70's this week, but I don't trust PA. We've had 70 and a couple inches of snow in the same day. I'll take good summers over good all-season anytime there isn't snow on the ground or it's not below freezing.

I should also state that anytime it was more than a light sprinkle of rain, I would slip and slide everywhere.

i guess pirelli's it is then. treadwear seems pretty good on them too.thx for your input though.

I have the Pzero Nero's... they are great, with one exception. They have no lip protection where the Proxies 4's do. Here is a pretty good pic of mine.

Got mine at discount tire (local and nationwide)... don't think mine were that cheap though. They can come off the listed price some.

you may also want to look into Continental ContiExtremeContact tires. These tires handle excellent in both wet and dry conditions. Not cheap but worth the $$$ I have these currently and love them. I've had Toyo Proxes, Nitto's, Sumitomo's, Fuzions, Pirelli's, BFGR on various cars and the best tire's I've had are the continental's

PZero - My friend has them on his Eclipse and he likes them better than any other tire he's ever had. The Tirerack seems to like them, too.
