Touring Cars/MX5 Playboy Cup @ MOSPORT

Mosport International Raceway, Toronto. I was there to check out the MX5 Playboy Cup and also the Touring Cars. Finally got a chance to have a short chat with Doc B Racing, sponsor of Mazdas247! Super pro It was raining very hard so I didn't get a chance to walk around all the trailers to check out all the cars, I wanted to get upclose to DocB's protege to check it out too But there will be next time

Very cool stuff folks

I've never had the chance to see the Canadian Touring Cars (because SpeedTV = NASCAR channel... ugh), but I have watched the MX5 Cup folks live (in person and on TV) and they're absolutely awesome races to watch. Talk about close fun. Last year at the Mitty @ Road Atlanta they were 3 wide going under the bridge towards turn 12 and the start finish straight on the final lap. Excellent racing all around

Yea! There were 2 that were going through that turn 1 side by side, it was pouring so they all tend to drift to the corners a little bit, it was crazy cause the one on the inside started to drift and the tailend came out, the only way the MX5 on the outside could do was to induce a drift too so the tail end wouldn't make contact with each other, it was awsome!!! Tandem drift in the corners going like 100mph!!
