For anyone interested, here is some background info on why MP5CD says that he is not a big fan of TOProtege.

MP5CD registered on TOProtege.com and the first thing he tried to do was sell bootleg copies of the Workshop Manual on CD. He did not try to contribute to the community in any way. Instead, he just signed up to try to make money by selling copyrighted material which he did not have the rights to. He claimed that he was there to try to "help people out, and that's what message boards were about." But in reality, he was just looking to make a quick buck. When he was approached about it, instead of taking the high road, he decided to start cussing everyone out. He was given warnings that he would be banned if he kept it up, and he continued with his childish actions. He slandered me as well as several others. Even went as far as to say that he met me at Essential speed once, and that I was ******* idiot. Funny thing is, I've never even been to Essential Speed. He went on to say that he is connected to Ian from Essential Speed (as if this was going to give him some credibility or something). He continued thread crapping, and slandering despite the warnings. End result, MP5CD got banned.

Good luck with your new club there. Word travels fast, let's hope that the popularity of your new site grows faster than everyone talking about your immature behaviour on our board.

This ought to be interesting... can't wait to see you start up a Toronto based protege club that will outshine toprotege... it's been tried before... never worked... they got like 5 members... toprotege is built on much more than a web forum, members hang out, we get 30-40 cars out to a mini meet on an afternoon's notice....
