I ordered my first batch of goodies!

Cobb SRI
Dogbone W/Delrin
Shifter Bushings
Forge BPV

I thought long and hard , weighed all the valuable feedback I got from you all and decided that in the long run I will end up putting the cookie cutter mods on so why not go with the more aggressive performance oriented choices. I hope to have all of my parts by next week!

The next round of mods will most likely include:

TBE
FMIC-I know defeats the purpose of my above SRI but this stage will be a while.
AP

Cheers!

how will the FMIC defeat the purpose of an SRI?? most front mounts require an SRI

The Corksport FMIC kit comes with a built in replacement SRI that goes back in the stock location for the old TMIC.

If I had not already gotten a cai I would have gotten the corksport fmic, but i went with the ets tmic instead since I already have a cai...

Cobb will be releasing a FMIC kit soon, and there are fmic kits from turboxs, atp and begi.... so you can keep your SRI. I'm not 100% convinced the corksport FMIC setup is the best idea in the long run. It may be good if you plan on only doing bolt ons, but if you ever want to tune the car, that ram air system is going to be a b**** to dial in just right.

ram air is a wash on a turbo car anyway.... its not needed

plus, isn't it inviting water to be sucked into the intake? My intercooler was wet after driving in the rain for a bit....
