did u have plenty of room to store gear? thats one of the main reasons i bought my P5 is for camping and to show it off of course.

We took the P5 camping before. It was just the 2 of us so we didn't have that much stuff. With the back seats down and a roof top box, we got more than enough room. That little sucker can pack a lot of stuff.

I drove mine from Salt Lake to West Yellowstone for a weeklong camping/fishing extravangza, plenty of room.

i drive to vermont and maine alll the time in the winter with my 3 friends and it's awesome being able to hold our skis and boards up top, gear in the trunk and still leg room! plus decent gas mileage, how can you not love the p5?

Love filling up the P5 and going places. From the outside you'd never know there was that much room!

its slower than s***?!

The summer I first bought mine, went on a month long camping/road-trip from Illinois to California, to N. Dakota...Always comfortable...even with tons of crap piled in...

I'm curious, have not tried/measured yet.
If you fold down the back seats, is there enough room to lay down/sleep? Anybody know what the distance is?

I guess it would depend on how tall you are.

Definitely enough room to crash in the back! I spent a month on the road in mine and slept rather comfortably in the back many of those nights, and I am just a wee bit over 6'. You can't fully stretch out, but if you curl a bit you're fine.

Just ignor the haters. That's how you get them to go away. Ignor the ignorant.

Yup, I've done it too. Slept with my head in the hatch area and my feet up front. lol It's actually nice because the hatch cover blocks the sun in the morning! haha :D

That, my friend, is an awesome sight. I love seeing cars decked out for trips. Quick question re: your bike on the back. Looks to me like you have a trunk-mounted rack. What type are you running and also what kind of bikes are you carrying (ie. weight, freeride/xc) and how do you like the rack? Shoot me a PM. :)

I'm running dual roof Thule racks to carry bike up to 45lbs each but I need to get a rack for the rear also to carry more riders and gear. So many options so the best way to decide is to ask questions... Thanks!
