That's also where your heater and a/c lines are.
hm.. turbo will melt the vacuum line though.. its only hard plastic.. melted when I took a lighter too it..

There should be a heat shield to run it behind or something.

Just stick your head back there and find a place to run it, fer crying out loud.

Or just forget I said anything and drill a hole in your car somewhere. Or run it through the driver's window.

Whatever.

I'll check it out once it stops raining. :) Thanks man. I was paranoid about running plastic lines near the turbo.

lol yeah if running a hose through a firewall stops you in your tracks, then you may not want to be modding cars, by yourself atleast, lol. <3

you missed the "PLASTIC LINES" and "TURBO" part...

1200 degrees and PLASTIC isnt really that great together...

No you miss my point. I don't care if the lines are made of paper, the first thing you should learn in the world of modding is everything isn't just going to bolt right on like the instructions say, not that products even have instructions. Noone said your plastic lines had to go near the turbo, obviously that's why they are plastic, they aren't suppose to go near the turbo, think of the alternatives instead.

You got to think more along the lines like, well I can always just drill a hole in the firewall, and for those of you thinking you don't wanna drill your new car, I can guarantee you, if you shove your head in the foot well near the pedals and look up, you're going to find wires going through the fire wall - shove hose through that instead, starting from that side if you have to.

:)

come and take a look at my car. :) actually, I'll go take pictures. (shocked)

Nutari i cant seem to find a place to pass the vacuum tubing through the firewall. Its so damn cramped in this engine bay.. You could run the Vacum line where the factory wire harness goes through the firewall....Looking at the engine its the only open area to the top left. You can remove the heat sheild and bend it enough to get in there. It comes out high above the fuse box, Its a long run but should be pretty safe. Thats where I put my power wire for my amp.

oh cool! thanks man. Is that the passenger side?

Yeh its on the Passenger side, Its the only "hole" by the firewall, its not much but like I said it should work out fine........In that picture that is the strut tower and factory brace to give you an idea on the location. To see it you have to lean down and really look in there, but like I said just unbolt the heatsheild and your on your way. I didnt remove the aluminum heatshield, I just took a couple bolts of and folded/bent it out of the way, its really soft and you cant tell it was every touched after your done. If your running it along the firewall remove the other fiber heatsheild and go along there, make sure you ziptie it as far away as you can, which you would do anyway with the melting concern. Well the rest is just some tight spaces and akward posisitions! Have fun lol, let me know how it turns out for you!
