tokico to release illuminas

wazzup everybody. i was just on protegeclub.com and someone posted a thread that said tokico is going to release the illuminas for our proteges on october 1st. is this true?

In comparison to the Mustang.. the Tokico Illumina's shock\strut combo is $470. Prolly around 500-600.

Yeah, I don't see them making them mainly because of the Mazda3 being released soon (which would mark the end of the BJ Chassis). Hopefully the will though and I'll buy a set.

Eh, they still make them for the Probe/MX6, and they've been gone since '97. I wouldn't be suprised if they come out with them soon.

According to that Pclub thread...AutoR&D will recieve the frist shipment within a week or so, and that they should be available widely by October 1st...They HAVE finally been officially released, so Tokico is definately making them....

Also that thread mentioned that they will probably be the newer versions of the Illumina's, which will have more than 5 dampening adjustments....I would expect them to be around $115-130 each...Also they released the HP's as well (non-adjustable), and I bet they will be more like $80-90 each....Those prices are just speculation compared to other import strut prices for Illuminas and HP's, the prices have not been released yet by AutoR&D from what I read...

thats cool, more suspension options r always good, esp. adjustable shocks such as these.
