this is a little off topic, but i saw the previous dude's list of mods, and thought....wtf is an ebay intake?...

Anyone care to fill me in? I'm thinking piece of trash off of eaby that some habib made or its just a real intake (like an AEM or some other manufacturer) bought offo f ebay? But then why wouldnt you just put "aem intake" instead of saying ebay?? Im confused....

Ebay intakes work just as well as some of the other intakes on some cars. Since technically it's not an AEM intake, we don't call it that.

Most of the time it's just a generic (noname) pipe made that imitates the design of the namebrand pipes.

It'd be like going to any exhaust shop and having them custom bend one for you based on Injen's design.
