TIP and SRI question

Ok so I think I am going to place in order in a few weeks for a TIP and SRI. My question is how does the PG full length SRIandTIP combo perform and compare to its competitors? I think this has been discussed before but I would like some feed back. I like the PG SRI and TIP combo cause its only 200, but I hear that the COBB pieces are also very good but more money, I also consider getting a COBB AP in the future when my warranty expires so does the PG work good with the AP and how is the fitting. Sorry for the long thread but I don't want to go in and buy something without feedback. Thanks.

I have the PG SRI/TIP and I like them both. They perform just as well as the cobb pieces IMHO and were a little cheaper. The install is pretty straight forward, you just pay attention to the parts you take off and then do reverse steps to put the TIP in and then the SRI. It's nice to install both of them at the same time and then afterwards you can really hear the turbo spool and the BPV. As far the AP is concerned you would just need to find a map that is close with your mods. A SRI map will work with any SRI including the PG one. Hope this helps.

if you are looking to save money on the tip/sri and still get quality parts, i would look at the corksport design

I have both the Cobb SRI and TIP and the quality is great. If I was in the market again, I'd consider 3 companies only; Corksport, Cobb, or CP-e.

One other thing to consider is that I think only the Cobb SRI is CARB certified. That may or may not matter where you are...out here in CA it will be a factor when I decide which SRI to go with.

Just make sure you are consistant with whatever brand you decide. Meaning get corresponding intake / inlet combo's. The cpe / cobb inlets fit like crap with some aftermarket CAI's.
