Tinted tails.

Hi all. Just like the title says, I am going to tint the tail lights on my 2013 mazda hatch.
I am just curious if the VHT nite shades or a tint film would be better? I am leaseing the mazda with intent to buy at the end of lease. But in the cance I do not the film can be taken off easy.
Any input or ideas where to get film for a 2013 would be great.

No one here has tinted tail lights? If you do did you use overlay or a tinting spray?
I know there is a fellow ember who is a vendor here for the overlays......PMed him.

VHT is pretty good, but you have to clearcoat them so it lasts longer.

Lamin-X makes good films. You should check them out.

I hate the spray. The spray can be different shades and Ive only seen it look clean a handful of times.
Plus the fact that Ive shown officers that I can just pull off the film has gotten me out of a few tickets without even taking it off right there.

ive tinted lights before... now if your leasing use a film or youll be replacing the lights... if you own it id use the VHT works well but doo a few layers at a time as it drys it does darken more.. on my Sierra i used i think 5 coats each lens went pretty dark.
