My tint
My tint was done at Mother's Window Tint here in Austin, Texas. It's the best quality they had to offer me with life time guarantee. 35% side tints, which is Texas law, and 15% rear tints that is supposely one shade below the limo tint. The film they used is called, Johnson Window Film that has a scratch resistant coating. The price I paid for it is $180. Texas sales tax is high compared to a lot of other places in this country at 8.25%.
Since I took my MP3 in to their shop a few days right after I bought the car, they were very kind to work on it ASAP. I think they didn't really have that many cars in line anyways, but they did a good job to keep me informed of the progress and took less than 1 1/2 hours to complete.
I think the warranty service can get backed up a bit from what I witnessed, but as long as the shop stays in business I am willing to wait for the warranty repair. Only had to use the warranty once for my previous car and they did a good job back then. Although, if I had to use the warranty today, I would assume I'd have to wait a few weeks with them.... you know profit is top priority and warranty is probably secondary to them.
