Well, I got the first ticket of my life this afternoon on the way home from work. I was keeping up with traffic - translation: I was doing 80mph in a 70mph zone. state trooper picked me out of a crowd of 4 vehicles. Total damage: $163.50, and a bruised sense of pride as my coworkers sped by. I'm trying to get it fixed, though. Hope it works!

that really sucks. I feel for you. I don't know if they can give you a ticket if you were with other cars on the road. Were you in the front of the group?

i got pulled for doing 50 in a 45 and then was told that my car and me matched the discription for a local drug dealer as they pulled they're guns. ******* cops.

got pulled over for doing 96 in a 55 at 1:30 in the morning on a deserted highway north of Austin (my 1st also) and just finished my agressive driving course-it's total BS. anyway-take defensive driving, you might be able to do it online-and it's much cheaper

Cops suck DICK!!!! i can't believe they gave you a ticket for doing ten miles over. i got the first one in my protege the day after christmas. what pisses me off is a week later my dad got his wallet stolen but he knows who did it. he gives the cops the address and everthing and did they arrest anyone? get the wallet back? hell no. ******* lazy useless bastards. i guess actually going out and searching for crimes would be too much like work.

Guys,

This is not fool-proof, but get a good Radar Detector. My pasport 8500 has more than paid for itself I got it from Car Toys for $300. It is supposedly one of the best. If the cop has laser it won't make a difference though. In that case have a Laser Jammer. They ARE leagal cause the FCC does not regulate the type of laser it puts out! Lidatek supposedly has the best. Go to Radar Testfor reviews.

yea my friend started to get out to go skate, cause thats what we had pulled into my friend's yard to do, skate his half pipe, i look in my rearview mirror and see a suburban hauling ass coming at me, they almost rearended me when they stopped, evadentaly if your young and you drive a nice car you automaticly do something illegal like sell drugs. oh well **** cops.

Damn bro, that really sucks. I'm probably due for another ticket anytime soon. I hope I can afford that radar before that time comes though. I'm probably gonna end up buying a Valentine 1 and have it hard wired into my car. I hate the damn wire plugged into the cigarette lighter. :mad:
