"Thud" when slowing down to 15-20MPH

I keep hearing a somewhat loud "thud" noise from up front (it seems) when I am slowing down to around 15-20mph. I've though it was when downshifting even though the clutch was fully depressed, but i've tried it without downshifting and it often happens just the same when slowing down right around 15 to 20mph. I really don't know where to start or what it could be (Trans, clutch not fully engaging?/AWD transfer case?)

Any help or suggestions is much appreciated!

its probably the AWD disengaging.. try rolling slow and pull up on the ebrake enough so the brake light comes on

Is it a problem for it to be doing that? Haven't noticed it until recently. And what do you mean about pulling up ebrake a little, do you mean to do that to drive around in 2wd to see if it does it still?

Thanks for the help.
