Thoughts on lease buyout?

I know it's not the smartest financial decision to buyout a lease, however the price is attractive, the car is like brand new still, and I can't see spending more $ on anything else at this time. We need the 3 rows for carpool purposes, although it's tight in the CX9, the only other option I would consider is a Pilot (had an 04), but don't really like the new one. Sure wish the 2011 Explorer was out.

2008 Grand Touring AWD, 6cd/mp3, remote start (no nav or sunroof)
31k miles, new Parada's at 18k miles
$20,150 buyout

Test drove a 2011 Pilot this weekend, and it is out of the running. What a dog. We previously had a 2004 and it was really quick, the new ones are too slow and the transmission is constantly downshifting. Looking like we will be keeping the CX9.

I also test drove the Pilot but it didn't drive and feel as nice as the cx9. The interior of the Pilot is awful! Scracthes everywhere.. Very bad quality a higher priced vehicle.

To the op, you can get a grand touring awd without moonroof for 29K. With the great financing, you mimght be better off buying another new one..
