This Time I Actually Drove It Home (New MS3)

Love the color man. I always liked off colors that were hard to really define, especially when they're understated like that. Great photo's too, interesting locale.

Yea the royal blue color would have been perfect. Mazda really needs to release that color for the following year. The royal blue is by far the best color of the mazda3.

Is there going to be a 'following year'? My understanding is that they only make a new Mazdaspeed vehicle each year and that they rotate. MS6 for 2006, MS3 for 2007, MS? (MSRX-8 would be AWESOME!) for 2008?

I think the 6 just feels faster....it made boost a little earlier.

I think what they will do is keep each for a few years if not make them a permanent model. They will probably change some things for the second year.

I have a feeling mazdaspeed3 are going to do so well that mazda is just going to have to keep them for a while!

At most they will keep them for two years, because the new model of 3's comes out in 2009.

I can't wait for the next model to come out, I never really liked the design of the 3! Sorry guys. Maybe it's because over here in Montreal they are ALL over the place! The MS3 (first batch) we get in Canada come only in red. I've seen one at a dealeship and it looks alright, it's "mighty" compared to the MSP. I don't like the interior though. Love to see an MSRX-8 coming out (but it will be mucho $$$ for sure!)

those pics make the car look more darker blue/purplish than it really is... if you look at my review thread, the pics I've posted are a tiny bit more accurate than that in terms of color correctness

but you're right... in certain light it looks a lot like titanium gray, but at other times, you can really see the blue.... I love this color!

After looking at your pictures, I'm so glad that I picked the cosmic blue;
IMO I think it looks awesome (cool and understated).

Now... only if I can somehow endure the wait of 2.5 months. >_<

My only joy about the MS3 colors were that they were more creative than the GTI colors. At the dealer, they asked me my color preference and I said blue. "And your next preference?", they asked. "Not silver.", I said.

But now that I really see the blue, it's too faded and grey for me....but it IS unique.

My guess would be a msmx-5, the engine is ready. I really hope they use a front mount if they do make another mazdaspeed miata. The hood budge necessary for the ducting to the tmic would look quite out of place on the miata.

Frankly, I wish they had more color choices, and I would've chosen a white if they offered one. I've had bronze, silver, black, and desert silver (my current RSX) before.

I definitely think the cosmic blue is neat, and if I had to give more reasons...

black - I'm too lazy to wash it every few days
red - I like the police officers, but not enough to buy a red one
silver - Everyone's got one IMO.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with choosing any of the four colors. ^_^
