The practicality of having any machine that walks on two feet is almost nil, except for novelty. And it takes a ridiculous amount of engineering just to get something like that to not topple over when trying to move!
I was thinking more along the lines of that robocop machine at first. but yeah the chicken walker in star wars hits the spot. But chya, that thing is unstable as poooo.
