Please reproduce this featured high speed action movie without your super cool choice of Pop music. This way, some of us people here can listen to your engine or exhaust to see if we can tell what is stopping your vehicle from achieving 100mph. (Which is approx 160km/h. I'm saying this to not offend other Canadian folks by myself by using american only units of speed.)

But in all seriousness it might be a part you added that you think is doing good, (ex: exhaust if it's cheap) which is actually preventing you from going that fast. It has absolutely nothing to do with the tires.

BTW: Taking it to the dealer & telling them the problem probably wouldn't be the greatest idea... "Every time I try to go over 100mph it wont let me"..... LOL just a thought

The rating on the tires is purely a measure of their heat dissipation ability... if you overheat the tires they can rupture, fatigue, and fail. Also it indicates a degree of strength and balanced associated with the tires so they can withstand the rpm's they go through at those speeds... H-ratings will not in any way affect how fast you can or can't go.. why you hit a wall like that I don't now... but it is not the rating of the tires that caused it... the tread may be so coarse or the like that it increased your drag to a point that the motor can't overcome... and once you went into fifth gear the multiplier was such that the motor couldn't overcome the forces etc... so it's another issue.

for some reason when he gets too about 100 mph his rpms drop off & he cannot get to a higher speed & wants to know why...

ok im guessing the reason he stopped at or around 100 mph.. with out watching .... is a rev limiter?! maybe... whats goin on with tires.?.. unless they are blowing up ....your H rateas arent preventing you from going fast.... am i missing something here?
