this is the best christmas ever. me and my girlfriend, well fiancee now exchanged gifts on christmas eve morning.
i got her an engagement ring and clothes,
she got me, get ready, a 65 lincoln continental. and the best part is, it was jim staffords old lincoln originally. (he is a country singer that is popular in branson mo)
so i now have a new toy. i guess the wagon isnt going to get as much attention anymore.

ill get pics asap. im gonna start working on the engine hopefully next week. it has been sitting for about three years, so i need to be careful not to lock it up when i start it. but when it was parked it was running. the body is as straight as an arrow. the interior is crap, so a new interior is on the list. and what i think is even cooler, she wants it to be OUR car. she said, ill help you fix it up and we'll take it to shows and stuff. that meant so much to me, especially knowing that she has the tendency to HATE anything to do with cars. anyways, i got engaged and got a pimp ride, im not complaining one bit.

What about some 100 spoke Daytons? I've seen a Lincoln covert. with a set of 22" Daytons and the car was HOT!!!.

He had the mystique color change paint and 22" 100 spoke in chrome. The pimpest ride I've ever seen.

thanks alot to everyone. im going to try and get it running this weekend. i talked to my fiancee's dad and he said with a new battery and after we change the fluids it should fire right up.
and as far as spoked rims. if the sprewells fall through, player has some pimp rims, so spoked rims are still a possibility.

its going to rain here saturday, but depending on how hard and how long, i will try to get some pics of it up. i might see if someone could photo shop some wheels on it for me, maybe even make it all blacked out w/the wheels.

well i got it running for a little while today, but the fuel pump on it is bad. i havent had a chance to get my parents camera to take any pics yet, i might try on monday. (fingers crossed)
mounthonas, i had actually thought of trying to get it done in time for our wedding, but now she is wanting to have a small wedding in florida or hawaii.
