Thinking of selling MSP for M3...input?

The M3 is an awesome machine. But, I really don't like the average owners. Okay, who cares! BUT, I' m saving already for the EVO X, have you seen the pics? It makes the M3 look like an retiree car!! I'll enjoy my MSP another 2 years or so while saving $$$ and then...
Or maybe the new Corrado that will come out, or the new Skyline... lots of good stuff to come in the next couple of years!

Evo X=eh not too shabby but back on topic. Yeah if i wasnt 18 and IF i had a job where i could afford an M3 i'd do it in a heartbeat i have made it a promise to myself that when i get the money that is the first thing to buy.

thats what i think too i love so much the M3, but for now i enjoy the msp and the audia4

the corrado is coming back?!!??! that wasw my first love i had a 1990 g60 as my 2nd car (first one was a true beater) i loved that thing! where can i find pics?

i love the M3 as much as the next guy, but it seems like the easy way out to me. its like, you buy the car and youre done. you dont have to do anything else to it because its already perfect, and the only guy i know who HAS modded it went and bought a civic hatch and turbo'd it because he was disappointed with the way the M3 responded to the mods he did to it.

Personally, I'd take an RX-8 over an M3 anyday. I respect the M3's performance and pedigree, but it does nothing for me. The RX-8, on the other hand... ZOMG. The styling, the rotary engine, the four-door sports coupe-ness, t3h Mazdaness...

Id take an M3 or an S4 over the RX-8 any day of the week, no questions asked.

The M3 and S4 are the uber hottest.
If you can afford it, then ditch the MSP.

... Rotary sucks IMO.
That's what I hear from everyone I know who's ever had one, but if you can afford upkeep on a M3, you could probably afford it on an RX-8.

I dunno. It's shape is so sexy.

Anyways, the M3 is kinda common where I live too. That was one of the reasons I hunted down an MSP; you don't see many of 'em and nobody is sure what it is. (cabpatch)

But, if you can afford the car you want AND the upkeep, then by all means, go for it.

if youve got the bread for an M3, get a 97 supra and be even happier

(werd) my friend just traded his is300 (which he was saving for a turbo kit for) in for a 97 tt supra targa top

haha i know a guy who just totaled his turbo IS300 by way of tree (accidentally). that thing was a beast, it was street driven putting down like 400 whp

Exactly, the RX-8 looks nice and all, but its not very powerful. You would have to sink major cash into it to get it to perform with an S4 or M3. And I wouldn't want the hassle with the rotary engine.

I was a big fan of the old 1.8T's and from what I read the new 2.0T is even better, plus you can get the DSM gear box, which is kick ass.

You could go with the new Audi A3 with the 2.0T and mod that alittle and it would be a kick ass ride. Probably, best ride for the money spent IMO.

Here are the times that Top Gear tested, on the track:

BMW M3 - 1.31.8
Nissan 350Z - 1.31.8
Mazda RX8 - 1.31.8

The last one is the cheapest of the three! ;)

Didn't they stop producing the Supra in the early to mid-nineties? That means you'd be lucky to find one at least ten years old. And you can all but forget about it having low miles...

they stopped producing the supra in either 98 or 99, but the special edition 1997 supra twin turbo with the T-tops is the most sought after one
