Thinking of NiteShading the INSIDE of tail lights...anyone else done it?

I have a 2004 Mazda 3 Hatchback and I like the tail lights the way they are except for the orange and red coloring of the brake and signaling lights; I want to tint those alone with NiteShade...I think it will make for a cool effect...plus it's not something i've seen before. But...has anyone else done it? for any tips or pics

It's extremely difficult to open up the tails and be able to put them back together without cracking them... the headlights are easy, but the taillights are sealed differently and you can't just bake them apart. Good luck if you try... but use a spare pair, not the only ones you have, in case you mess them up.
