Thinking of getting these for DD

get the 25 offset. If I ever get another set of wheels for the 2 that is what I would get, but then I can't use the spacers which is an issue. I don't want to swap wheels and spacers every event.

That would be a good looking wheel to run for the bling and they are decently lightweight.

This is why I want different wheels for the 2, I don't want to use spacers.

But you think I should use 25 offset with my 205/50R15 instead of the 30 offset?

Yeah they are lightweight, I don't want to go bigger than 16inch, looks goofy above that with small rotors.

Even now I'm thinking of sticking to 15", I don't like looks over function.

Here is a pic of my car with her AutoX shoes on, K1 +25 Offset. Tires are Direzza ZII's 205/50 and -2.5deg's of camber. They look funky with less camber dialed in in my opinion and you may rub fender slightly depending on suspension/tire. I get a lot of compliments on the way it is now though. I have considered trying something higher offset. I think it really depends on what you want handling/looks/clearance wise. I have no experience on the handling difference on our cars or the MX-5.

On another note: On the Mazdaspeed website they mark +25's as Spec Miata and +35 as B-Spec(Mazda 2)

You could probably get better aerodynamics with the wheels tucked in more. lol.

That is a good point you need to have the right camber to make them work. I say the 25 because they just look great. That is what I used to base my 25mm wheel spacers on for the stock wheels. My stock wheels are a 15 offset with the spacers. I say go do it for the look. If you want performance only then do the 30. They do stick out the sides more causing more drag, but they look great.

The few sets of wheels I use range from +25 to +35 for racing. I think the +25s give the best look overall. I haven't had any problems with rubbing with any of the sets.

So 15x7" with 205/50R15 25+ offset wont rub Derrick ?

looks at the wheels I run this weekend since I was loading up some stuff for the car and the widest 205/55/15 tires I appear to have is the Hoosier H20 tires which are mounted on a set of the 5 zigen rims. They wheels are the +25 offset and I have not had them rub so you should be super safe with the +30s

If you don't rub with 25+ with 205/55r15.... I may go for them instead of 30+ All I know is I need wheels :)
