A couple of questions before I decide to order the part:
Is it really worth it to ditch the cats?
When you install the check engine light eliminator, do you have to cut wires? And if so, how hard is it to put everything back to stock?
I really want to add some power to the car, without upping the boost right now. This seems like the cheapest mod I can do right now.

JUST GET IT!
You will not be disappointed!
You have to cut two wires on the O2 sensor itself so there is no actual cutting to the harness of the car required. It is quite simple to install and worth every penny!
Besides it is almost too pretty to put on the car. When I got mine I just wanted to hang it on a wall for all to see!
Ha!

just get the one with the hi flo cat so you won't pollute the air that we all breath

honestly commuter cars acount for less emissions in our plaent compared to industrial and other forms of emission out there....ever see how much smoke is bleched from a 18 wheeler :) only reason we have such strict emission laws is cus the gorvenment doesnt want to choke its industry :) history factoid to chew on lol

btw - get it and enjoy :)

When you installing the CEL eliminator you just splice into two wires. If you ever did want to replace everthing back to stock just cut where spliced into and re-solder the connections. Simple and easy to do. The install takes less then an hour for the down pipe.

more than likely this is a dumb ? and i think its been answered already but i'm too lazy to search right now cuz i gotta get to my bowiling league. anyway... the downpipe w/ the high flow cat, does that set off the CEL as well?? I'm assuming it does since there's only one cat running.

i have a brand new never installed apex dp i am trying to sell. it is just the dp, no cel eliminator or gasket.

i am looking for $210+ shipping

I don't want to get into a debate on this with you my friend. Just do want your conscience tells you.....

I thought that the dp with hi flow cat does not through a CEL.
BTW, anyone custom make or have made a d/p with HF cat?

I'm thinking a shop could make one like APEX for around the same $$$.

I have the Apex 2.5" DP w/ hi flo cat. It does not throw a cell.
