Sweetest Car Ever
So ive got this little hand held device that measures thickness in mills. and i measured the paint on my car and 3.8 mils was the thickest i found. the average was between 2.5 and 3. My motorcycle has thicker paint then my car. and the dodge and chevys that i checked were around 6 mills. This could explain why the paint chipps so easy on my car.

yeah, Mazda paint sucks donkey dinkies...
I complain about it everytime I go in there.
I may just write this info down and see what they have to say about it.

Interesting, but what year cars did you test againts? Class etc?

Seen other cars that chip just as easily, so wouldn't completely say it is mazda but instead the level of car and current state they are made in.

but yes they chip very very very very easy.

you should measure every car you can and keep a spreadsheet or something to compare all of the makes.

Apparently, the governments are cutting down on heavy "nature destroying" paints that were usually very good and stood up to the elements without any problems.

Mazda is using a 3 step paint process... I am not sure on what it is..
